Class attendance is very important in your education and this is reflected in your course grade. Your attendance in this course will be indicated by your submission of an entry to an electronic journal. At the end of each class, you are required to submit a short (150-250 words) reflection of the presentation. Your response should be in paragraph form. Include important things you learned in class, personal reflections, and unanswered questions. Your reponses will be graded on correctness, clarity, and mechanics. No credit will be received for responses without valid content. Note that this is a computer science class NOT a comedy class. While humor is generally a good thing, the intent of this is to give you an opportunity to think and respond critically to the important content of the course. As such, responses which are not relevant to the course material are not acceptable. Simply fill out the form below and hit the submit button. You might find it easier to compose in another window and paste into the submission box. These are due by 8:00 AM on the Monday prior to the next class. You are required to submit a relevant response even if you miss class, regardless of the reason. Copies of all responses will then be posted anonymously on the web for everyone in the class to review.
