Class attendance is very important in your education and this is reflected in your course grade. At the end of each regular class (non-test days) you are required to submit two important things you learned in class. Acceptable reponses will include what you learned, NOT simply we did X (I know what we did!). You are also required to submit one unanswered question related to class. You question might include clarification of a technical point, questions on homework problems, or hints on programming projects. The goals of this include encouraging class attendence, encouraging class participation, encouraging thinking about the class, allowing me better feedback to you, and to aid in course review. No credit will be received for responses without valid content. Note that this is a computer science class NOT a comedy class. While humor is generally a good thing, the intent of this is to give you an opportunity to think and respond critically to the important content of the course, namely computer science. As such, responses which are not relevant to the course material are not acceptable. Simply fill out the form below and hit the submit button. These are due by 8:00 AM on the day of the next class. You are required to submit a relevant response even if you miss class, regardless of the reason. Copies of all responses will then be posted on the web for everyone in the class to review. You may also submit interesting links to related web pages for extra credit. You must also include a short statement of the content of the link and why others will find it interesting. Please supply the entire URL as it appears on your browser. Only one link per day will be allowed for extra credit. Credit is not given for URLs which appear on the web site either from me or a previous student submission.
